That's pretty shitty for what's supposed to be one of the better roleplaying games in the Fallout series. They run twice as fast as me so I can't escape from them. I get annihilated by throwing spears in ten seconds and there's absolutely nothing I can do. NONE of my weapons can outmatch their DT, even my 40mm grenade launcher (from the DLC) doesn't kill them. And holy shit are they impossible to fight.
Now, however, I am vilified by the Legion and about three hours of gameplay later, I ran into my first Legion hitsquad. I only had difficulty killing the troop's leader, who was wearing this fox-head helmet and I had to use armor piercing ammunition to kill him (his DT was too high for my normal rounds). I went through Nipton and decided to slaughter the Legion there.
